We’ve recently heard about the plight of a two year old girl, who is sadly suffering from the terrible disease, Cystic Fibrosis.  This disease affects the exocrine glands, causing abnormally thick mucus to build up in the lungs, digestive system and in other areas of the body.  It is a life-limiting illness with no cure.  Sadly most sufferers do not make it to their forties, with many passing away much sooner.

Unfortunately, we have first-hand experience with Cystic Fibrosis at Simply Glass Splashbacks, as our founder, Laura, lost her little sister to the disease when she was very young.  Since then, Laura has been an avid fundraiser, helping sufferers of this horrible disease.  In 2016 we donated £4,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis holiday fund, and we continue to support those who happen to cross our paths – we believe this happens for a reason!

Little Annabelle’s mum is trying to raise money to buy her a special physio vest, which will help with her quality of life.  We have vowed to personally help this family, but would like to share their crowdfunding page with our little SGS community in the hope that between us, we can help Annabelle have the best life possible.
